What happens if you don't rate something?

With the best will in the world, I don't think I can get the dependencies installed for all of the games in time to rate them all.

I don't want the games I am unable to rate to get a zero from me - some of them look really cool.

Is the overall rank of a game based on the average of the ratings it gets rather than the sum of them?

The overall rank is calculated thusly:

  1. I gather up all the ratings given by all the people who rated it,
  2. I remove all 0 ratings,
  3. I remove the top and bottom rating,
  4. I calculate the average from the ratings that are left, and finally
  5. I ignore any entry that has less than 5 ratings against it.

I don't think the small amount of robustness gained by throwing away the top and bottom scores (small) is worth the loss of data.
