On Wednesday, 23rd March 2005, Abbey, Rachel and Jeanette took a trip to the Melbourne Zoo.

What are we looking at? A seal! We arrived at lunch time.
Mmmm, cookie! Everyone's eating. Even the lizards.
Snakes hiss. And I believe this is some kind of small dinosaur. The real deal,
no mock turtles here. Iguanas pretending they're at home in the sun. Gorillas playing it cool for the tourists.
Ever noticed how tall these things are? But they're bigger than me, and there are so many of them!
Clearly relating in a funky way, to gibbons. Butterflies rarely pose.
But I caught them in the end. And so did Abbey. By mid-afternoon it all proved to be a little too exciting.
