On Wednesday, 23rd March 2005, Abbey, Rachel and Jeanette took a trip to the Melbourne Zoo.
|What are we looking at?||A seal!||We arrived at lunch time.|
|Mmmm, cookie!||Everyone's eating.||Even the lizards.|
|Snakes hiss.||And I believe this is some kind of small dinosaur.||The real deal,|
|no mock turtles here.||Iguanas pretending they're at home in the sun.||Gorillas playing it cool for the tourists.|
|Ever noticed how tall these things are?||But they're bigger than me,||and there are so many of them!|
|Clearly relating||in a funky way, to gibbons.||Butterflies rarely pose.|
|But I caught them in the end.||And so did Abbey.||By mid-afternoon it all proved to be a little too exciting.|
