Richard's Photos -- Peace Rally, February 14th 2003

I took the first set of images at the rally point outside the State Library. We arrived at 4:30pm, half an hour before the rally was to commence, and already the area was full of people. By the time the organisers said it was time to march to Federation Square, the entire length of Swanston St. was filled with protesters. Note in the shot of Swanston St, you can see the war memorial in the very distance.
